How much are tickets?
There are two ways to attend the Someone You Should Meet event:
$30 — The Hype your Guy/Gal Ticket: This ticket includes ONE three-minute pitch slot and entry for two: the one doing the bragging and the eligible single.
$20 — Audience Singles + Cheer Squad: Not interested in pitching? No problem. Come cheer, mingle, and maybe meet someone yourself. This ticket is perfect if you just want to be in the room and part of the energy.
Note: ticket price does not include tax and fees. That will be calculated when you check out.

Does one ticket cover both the bragger and the eligible single?
Yep! That’s the Hype Your Guy/Gal ticket. One ticket = two entries (you + your single friend). If you want to brag about another friend, you’ll need another Hype Your Guy/Gal ticket.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds. Unlike dating apps, this ticket actually guarantees face time. 😉
How much time do I have to brag about my person?
You get three minutes total. Plenty of time to brag without oversharing.
Can I brag about more than one person?
Yes, but you’ll need to buy a separate Hype Your Guy/Gal ticket for each friend you want to spotlight. One friend per stage time, please.
Can I brag about myself?
Of course! Consider it the boldest move in the room. Just grab the $30 ticket and step up to the mic.
Will the person I’m bragging about need to be there?
Yes. No bragging about friends who aren't in the room, please!
What if I don’t have anyone to brag about me?
No problem! Brooke, the founder of SYSM, will happily step in as your ultimate wingwoman. Just grab the Hype Your Guy/Gal ticket and she’ll do the bragging for you.
Do I have to be a graphic designer to create this presentation?
Nope! Once you grab the Hype Your Guy/Gal ticket, we’ll send you a link to a Google Slide template that’s simple, fun, and ready to go. Alternatively, if you don’t want to create the presentation, there is an optional $15+tax add on for us to do it for you.
What if I hate public speaking? I don’t want to let my friend down!
No stress! We’ve got options. If the spotlight makes you sweat, we’ll pair you with a co-wingman, or Brooke (our fearless founder) will step in.
Is SYSM only for straight singles?
Not at all. SYSM is for everyone—every race, every gender, every orientation. 🌈 Love is love, and everyone deserves a wingperson hyping them up.
What’s the dress code?
Think first date vibes—whatever makes you feel confident. Jeans, dresses, boots, sneakers—if you feel good in it, you’ll look good in it.
What is the age range for this event?
Since most of our events will take place at establishments that serve alcohol, it is 21+. We’ll share the age range of the lineup ahead of time on social media so you can decide if it’s in your dating wheelhouse. The audience is usually a mix, so come ready to connect with people both inside and outside your usual circle.
What happens after the event?
You’ll get to mingle with the audience and make connections in real time. If sparks fly, great. If not, you’ve still expanded your network—and had a way better night than scrolling on the couch.
Can I come alone?
Yes! You can totally fly solo, no wingman required. Snag the $20 Audience Singles + Cheer Squad ticket, and you’ll be mingling in no time.
Will there be food and/or drinks?
Yes! We know mingling is always easier with something in your hand. Drinks will be available for purchase, and if the venue has food options, we’ll let you know so you don’t end up hangry.
Is SYSM speed dating?
Definitely not! No timers, no awkward “so…. what do you do?” on repeat. At SYSM, you’re celebrated on stage—and the audience gets to see the real you through the eyes of someone who already thinks you’re amazing.
